My Inspiration
I have always been inspired by the artist and renaissance man known as Leonardo Da Vinci from his inventions to his paintings and hif life stories have always been really interesting when I was first learning about him in school I took immediate interest to this character.
This is a painting of the man known as Leonardo Da Vinci
I have always been intrigued by his inventions and just hoe revolutionary he really was I played a game Assassins Creed 2 and brotherhood which featured the character Leonardo as a Supporting character for Ezio Auditore where you got to try out his inventions for him which I thought was really cool not only was he a revolutionary man but he also created many theories and beautiful paintings.
This is one of his inventions a flying contraption.
This is one of his earliest paintings called Uffizi
My other Inspiration is a Photographer called Mario Testino.
I really like his photography because he takes really nice portraits and really beautiful shots and imagery of his models. I aspire to be a better photographer in portraits because I know I need to work on my portraits and I love the pictures Mario takes. They can be very inspirational.
This is a picture of Mario Testino
These are two portraits he has took of some models and at the minute I just cant seem to capture such quality such as Mario but I strive to try my best and approve where need be.
The Equipment:
The equipment I had available were Canon EOS 700Ds, and lower cameras to go out and use for photography. I could have used a tripod but I didnt really have time to do model shoot with people. But I used the tripod for some shots I took on the beach of a model we were using for a short film since he was there I though yeah we could take a few pictures before we end the day. There is also spot lights and a lighting system in the studio if we needed shots in there as well.
This concludes my Equipment and Inspiration hope you all enjoyed the read.

Texture/Shutter Speed Photography
1st Photo
I took this picture in my friends from garden. I really think this is a cool Texture photo because to me it looks like terrain on a different planet it reminds me of a game called Mass effect. It just reminded me of the space terrain on the game. I also thought the darker rocks looked gold like and that it gives of a cool pleasing colour.

2nd Photo
I was in a pub with some friends and I though the steam coming out of the Tea looked pretty cool.
I used the Shutter speed to capture the steam rising from the Tea sup. I myself enjoy Tea because who doesn't love tea in Ireland plus a good drink. The background is a Guinness and a packet of prawn cocktail crisps. A fitting setting if you ask me.
But I just enjoyed how aesthetic the cup is because its brown on top and white on its bottom. I goes with the background and the table.

3rd Photo

I took this photo when I was out with my friends have a barbecue. I took the picture because I thought the fire was really pretty and that it would be cool if it I caught it on camera. It also looks like if my friend Conor and the Fire are attacking each other like a Fantasy type game and I thought that was pretty funny.

Contrast Images.
1st Photo
Today I will be showing some contrast Images I shot that I thought were nice and have certain meaning to myself and everyone else.
This is a picture I took at my friends house when we were having some ice cream and I really liked the two contrasting colours on the poke or (Ice cream cone) that I was eating. I also thought it would be a good picture because everyone likes Ice cream. The aperture is also quite pretty with the poke in focus and the background unfocused.
Camera Settings:
F/stop:F/6.3
Exposure Time:1/500 sec.
ISO Speed: ISO-100
Exposure Bias:0
Focal Length: 20mm

2nd Photo
This photo is a Contrast/Texture photo.
For this Photo I thought the slightly wet rocks contrasted each other and I thought it was cool how some water changes the colour of stones. I like the way it also shows the colour a light grey and a light to dark brown ratio. I thought it was quite pretty and decided to take the shot.
Camera Settings:
F/Stop:F/5.6
Exposure Time:1/60 sec.
ISO Speed:ISO-400

3rd Photo

This 3rd photo I thought the sun
really helped with the shadow as well because it really helps represent light and dark colours of the physical objects themselves and also the minds of our youth so this photo has a light and dark meaning to it just the like the colours of the animals. I thought the darker colours on the teddy's really contrasted themselves whilst they are up against each other. especially up against the shade of grey in the car seats.

CityScapes Task1
All these Pictures were taken at the Waterworks Park in Belfast up at the Antrim road,By Conal Mc Laughlin/Gingie.
I took these pictures on a DSLR Cannon camera. My resolution is 72Dpi, my bit depth was 24, my Fstops was f/13, My exposure time was 1/200 sec. The ISO is 100 and the focal length is 18mm. I shot all pictures horizontally as they are landscape shots.
I chose this 1st shot because I think the colours the sun are reflecting of the water were beautiful and the shot itself is really appealing to the eyes. Also if you look at the left lane it kind og gives of a illusion as a track going up to the mountain.
For this 2nd photo I seen the Waterworks sign and the lovely scenery behind it went really well and its also the name and insignia of the water works so I thought since I was shooting there it would look nice having the sign in. The sign has some useful information so if you ever come across it give it a wee read!. The settings for this photo were,
my Fstops was f/8, exposure time 1/100, ISO 100, Focal Length 34mm They were the setting for this photograph I took.

For this picture I thought the mountain was very scenic and again with the lines in the photograph I wanted to give off the illusion as if you were walking up to the mountain as the trees hollow out where the path goes towards but at the same time it looks really nice and thats why i chose the picture. The settings for this shot the Fstops 5.6 exposure time 1/100sec, ISO 125, Focal length 55mm.
